Three years ago one of my close cousins moved out of the US to Basel Switzerland. When i first learned that i was accepted into the IRES program i instantly knew that i wanted to go visit her while i was in Germany. Basel is about a 3 hour train ride from Stuttgart so on our second week we (Michael, Rudra, Dre and I) decided to go visit my cousin. She was very excited to finally have some family visit her outside of the US and graciously gave us a place to stay for the night.
After getting a brief tour of downtown we decided to head to the Tinguely Museum. One thing to note about Basel is that it is a city obsessed with art. There are about 40 museums within the city. The week we were there Art Basel was also going on so there were tons of outdoor exhibitions.
